Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will lead the external audit process for the Group and its local and international entities, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and managing the consolidation process. You will ensure the accuracy and completeness of audit deliverables, including the preparation of financial statements, supporting strategic financial planning and decision making. This position is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across the multinational group.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead multi-entity, multi-currency Group consolidation and close (monthly/quarterly/annual).
  • Prepare and review Group financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow); standardise and streamline reporting across entities.
  • Own the external audit end-to-end: build audit packs/schedules, coordinate with auditors and local teams, resolve queries, and deliver on time.
  • Manage fixed assets and lease accounting.
  • Oversee monthly payroll postings, payroll recharges, and transfer-pricing entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain the Group and local chart of accounts; strengthen internal controls and compliance procedures; mentor and develop team members.
  • Intercompany: monitor and reconcile balances across entities, investigate discrepancies, and deliver timely month-/year-end reconciliations; coach teams on best practices.
  • Keep current with FRS 102/IFRS and implement required reporting changes; ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally to analyse financial data and provide insights; support ERP/consolidation system implementations and enhancements.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement across audit, close, and consolidation processes.
