Company Description Looking for a new contract role? We’re seeking x4 seasoned Senior Financial Accountants to join our team for a 12 month contract opportunity, starting immediately – delivering high‑quality financial accounting, reporting, and control activities. These roles will lead on project based work and month‑end and year‑end reporting, whilst maintaining robust balance sheet reconciliations. Job Description Reporting into our TWS Financial Controller and Transactional Services Lead, these project roles will support the team to work on large and complex balance sheets, reconciliations and assist with the resolution of outstanding issues. Key responsibilities will include: End of month and general activity – prepare/review GL reconciliations, monthly bank and store banking reconciliations, working through resolution of discrepancies with the Transactional Services team Financial Accounting Tasks – investigations into issues, supporting the development of current & new business processes and procedures, accounting analysis, resolution of exceptions. Process analysis, improvement & documentation – focus on streamlining & resolving historic issues in reconciliation reviewing old and new documentation and new processes. Establishment of new ways of working – design, implement and embed new operating models across multiple business areas. Qualifications Excellent stakeholder management skills, strong initiative and a curious/inquiring nature describe you to a ‘t’. Being solution focused you are quite comfortable rolling up your sleeves and investigating and carrying out detailed analysis. We will rely on your attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to influence those around you to achieve desired outcomes, along with your interest in understanding our brands. Our wish-list also includes: Several years’ experience in Financial accounting Strong investigation and analytical skills – proven ability to analyse and interrogate large data sets to identify issues, root causes and solutions ERP system experience and process savvy Deep expertise in inventory accounting, strong hands‑on capability and understanding of inventory controls, movements, and impacts across the business CA qualification (or active progress toward one) Strong communication skills and high attention to detail Highly resilient, you thrive and have previous experience in fast paced, large and complex environments Experience with Oracle Fusion (or any equivalent stock system) is advantageous Can start immediately or within 2 weeks Additional Information Working with The Warehouse Group | Tā mātou tāpaetanga By being brand-led and retail-focused, we are intentional about having the right people in the right roles, allowing us to perform work that truly makes a difference.
