Description
Lead and manage the accounting function, including journal entries, subledger activities, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other applicable regulatory requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls over functional areas to safeguard financial integrity. Prepare and deliver ad-hoc and regular financial analyses, providing key stakeholders and management with insightful information on financial performance. Prepare Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account reconciliations for both internal and external audit purposes. Identify opportunities for development and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, processes, and data quality. Participate in ad-hoc and global projects, focusing on optimizing current processes and standardizing procedures across regions. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and management to support strategic decision-making. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Self-motivated with high standards for quality and accuracy in work. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. At least 5 years relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
