Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in financial reporting, technical accounting matters, and process improvement. Responsibilities
  • Performs tasks to ensure the financial functions are reconciled monthly including accounts receivables, unearned revenue, prepaid expenses, due from related parties property and equipment, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, long-term debt, capital lease, partners’ Equity etc.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of Prepared By Client (PBC) requests to auditors, including the preparation and submission of working papers and schedules for year-end audits.
  • Producing accurate and reliable financial data including consolidated Ministry of Health reconciliations and envelope balancing on a monthly basis
  • Prepare, validate, and submit all Ministry reporting including but not limited to staffing report, subsidy worksheet, MOH Annual Reconciliation and OHRS Management Information System report. Responsible for analyzing information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyzing specific MOH accounts related to one-time funding based on reporting requirements.
  • Prepare variance and ad hoc financial analysis for internal stakeholders including benchmarking for MOH reporting.
  • Assisting in annual budget analysis and preparation related to envelopes funded and balancing in collaboration with management and operations as necessary.
  • Assist with preparing and accounting for acquisitions, business combinations and transaction costs.
  • Responsible for maintaining strong internal controls and suggesting improvements.
  • Indirectly supervises and mentors team members, motivating and leading by example.
  • Assist with financial statements preparation and debt covenant reporting.
  • Actively participate in month-end journal entries and reconciliation process.
  • Continuously striving to identify, develop and implement efficiencies in finance processes and reporting
  • Performing special projects as assigned.
