We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based in Alpharetta, GA, O'Fallon, MO or New York Your Team The North America Reporting, Governance & Broker Administration team is responsible for coordinating and developing Allianz Commercial reporting activities for North America Lines of Business. This includes providing analytical support to Allianz Commercial Business Owners, as well as Senior Management in the Regional areas and in Munich. The Impact You Will Have Reporting to the Head of NA Sales Operations and Planning, you will be responsible for Distribution Reporting across all LoBs. You will analyze financial data, develop reports and dashboards within Power BI, and provide insights to enhance business performance. You and your teammates will handle data management and reporting tasks and activities related to the total Region (e.g., preparation for the local EMT Meeting), as well.. Some of your specific responsibilities could include: Providing distribution analyses and presentations for your area of responsibility (e.g., LoB/ regional/distribution analysis, etc.), identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities and providing recommendations. Presenting conclusions in a transparent way with robust financial commentary to enable distribution decision making. Collaborating and coordinating across LoBs, cross-functional and cross-geographical Allianz Commercial Board and senior level management to strengthen data-driven decision making and to help develop and support business goals. Managing regular reporting, forecasting and sales planning processes in your area of responsibility and in line with both customer and global requirements. Using SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for real-time financial analysis. Automating financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Driving best practice sharing, efficiency increases, global standard setting and harmonization, aligning and coordinating your area of responsibility with other CFO colleagues and finding opportunities to improve and streamline processes. Participating in projects and implementing initiatives as required. What You’ll Bring to the Role A minimum of 3 years of experience in P&C insurance and/or asset management.; Proven experience with financial statement performance management and analyzing financial statements; Finance and Insurance know-how (ideally P&C) as well as understanding of complexities inherent in an insurance group; Understanding insurance financial statements and their performance measurement as it relates to Broker Distribution; Excel, SQL Management Studio, Power BI, and PowerPoint skills to effectively analyze data and convey messages clearly (reporting tools knowledge, e.g., SAP, preferred; Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; Project management skills and the ability to work within an international and dynamic environment; Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to develop and positively influence key, strategic position holders across locations and functions; and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics. The annualized base pay range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.
