Working Location: Kai Tak office Employment Duration: 2-Year Contract / Permanent   CLP Holdings Limited (CLPH) is seeking a high-calibre professional to join its Group Risk Management & Internal Control team under Group Finance. As part of the second line of defense of CLPH, the team plays a key role in supporting senior management in maintaining a robust and effective risk management and internal control environment across the Group. The team works closely with business units, group functions, and Group Internal Audit to strengthen governance, enhance risk oversight, and support assurance to senior management and the CLPH Audit & Risk Committee (ARC). This role offers broad exposure to Group-level risk management and internal control processes, assurance activities, and Senior Management and ARC reporting. It is well-suited for individuals seeking to develop expertise in governance, risk, and control.   Responsibilities * Support the Group in maintaining effective risk management and internal control frameworks in compliance with HK Listing Rules and aligned with international best practices (e.g. COSO framework) * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities * Assist in coordinating assurance requests to Business Units and Group Functions, monitoring the effectiveness of the Risk Management and Internal Control system * Perform internal control reviews, including evaluating risks, assessing control design and operating effectiveness and recommendation of process or control improvements * Support the follow up of audit issues, including updating remediation status * Prepare and maintain internal control documentation to support a clear audit trail and assurance activities * Prepare analytical reports and dashboards to support reporting to Senior Management and the ARC * Assist in regular review of Group Risk Management & Internal Control policies, procedures and instructions * Provide advisory support on risk management and internal control matters, including interpretation of Group Risk Management & Internal Control policies, procedures and governance requirements * Maintain and support the Risk and Internal Control system, including system administration, data integrity, user access management, as well as supporting system upgrades, implementation of new functionalities and related user acceptance testing   Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines, with professional qualification (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA) preferred * Minimum 6 to 8 years' relevant experience, preferably in internal control, audit, risk management, or Big Four environment * Good understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks, corporate governance requirements, and financial reporting controls * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate data into actionable insights * Experience in data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI), and/or exposure to AI-enabled tools or automation to enhance reporting and control monitoring is advantageous * Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work effectively across functions and regions * Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) ABOUT CLP CLP was founded in Hong Kong in 1901, at a time when electricity was still a novelty worldwide.
