JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

The HBP Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the reporting and analysis of the financial performance of hospital-based physician practices and the impacts prospective changes may on the practice. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to business cases for service line growth, as well as other duties as assigned by the HBP Director of Finance.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other business related field is required
  • Master’s Degree is preferred; Master’s Degree in Statistical Analysis is desirable
  • 5 years accounting experience in a Healthcare setting is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

THIS ROLE SUPPORTS OUR ANESTHESIA OPERATIONS FOR HCA HEALTHCARE.

The office is located in Brentwood, TN, to be considered for the role you must reside in the surrounding area or willing to relocate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

  • You will determine and devise data survey collection, research techniques, data interpretation, and analytical methodology to use for analysis purposes
  • You must utilize statistical, economic, and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports such as proformas, weekly projection, physician bonuses and other requests
  • You will perform preparation of Annual Projections and Budgets
  • You will interpret data concerning financial trends and economic and business forecasts
  • You will assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of tools that will be used in the revenue and collection processes for variance analysis
  • You will also prepare monthly analysis by reviewing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Journal Entries and impact on financial data
  • You must prepare monthly financial statements and other month end reporting
  • You will participate in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations
  • You will prepare documents for compliance with regulations, and maintain confidentiality
  • You will practice and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement”
