The purpose of this very exciting role is to provide timely and accurate analysis, insights and recommendations across home care services whilst maintaining oversight on the generation of accurate financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure thorough, timely and accurate analysis of data and the delivery of regular insights on operating performance, areas for improvements, revenue leakage and non-recovery of costs.
  • Ensure monthly analysis reporting is developed, continually enhanced and shared with key stakeholders to enable effective decision making.
  • Maintain oversight of the internal processes across care systems (including completeness checks, validations, reconciliations etc) to ensure accuracy of financial results, margins, analysis and billing.
  • Undertake system and process reviews, data set reviews, issue deep dives and other ad-hoc requirements to gain insight into the operating performance and efficiency of Seniors Living with a view to continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the delivery of accurate and timely monthly financial analysis, KPIs and dashboards to ensure a clear understanding of divisional performance to the senior leadership team.
  • Contribute to the design and presentation of financial and KPI information, ensuring information is clearly presented and easily understood.
  • Ensure effective review, analysis and commentary is delivered, to provide key insights and recommendations to support commercial operations and sound decision making.

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, accounting or similar
  • Aged care experience (highly desirable)
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in highly analytical roles
  • Strong handle on MS Excel, PowerPoint, word and software applications
  • Strong business partnership skills, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of Accounting Standards, legal and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently and as part of a team
