Responsibilities:
Horizon Health, a wholly owned subsidiary Universal Health Services, is a diversified health care services provider. The company is a leading contract manager of clinical and related services, primarily of behavioral health programs offered by acute care hospitals in the United States. Horizon Health is currently seek a self-motivated, well organized Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing support, consultation, recommendations and research for senior management, regional operations/management, development, and financial reporting functions of Horizon Health and its divisions. This will include monitoring of regulations, development of pricing, analyses of transactions, and interpretation and modeling of trends and changes affecting the healthcare industry.

Essential Duties

  • Reviews complex financial accounting work processes, systems, and procedures for efficient workflow and conformity with accounting principles.
  • Reviews the internal controls and security of all automated accounting applications to ensure conformity with auditing standards.
  • Gathers and compiles information on processes, organizational structure, computer technology, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyzes system design alternatives and identifies potential improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Develop and implementing improved revenue cycle Processes and procedures from intake to collections.
  • Prepares for financial audits by ensuring procedural compliance in revenue reporting and collections.
  • Prepares and delivers comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive leadership, committees, and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluation of potential investments and divestitures as well ag general economic outlooks.
  • Collaborates with appropriate staff to gather input and feedback concerning system needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Qualifications:
