As a senior financial analyst, you will act as a support partner to the various business groups by providing objective and fact-based analytics in understanding drivers of performance and the impact of different courses of action. You will participate and support decision making, new initiatives and enhancing efficiency.
In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Focus of analyses ranging from short-term, current-business incremental opportunities such as sales, operational efficiencies, and customer service, to long-term complex opportunities in adjacent businesses or brand-new ‘blue sky’ initiatives.
  • Influence people and decision making by bringing data to life through compelling stories that drive action and bringing a fact-based approach and ability to understand multiple perspectives into the conversation.
  • Learn and embrace new analytics methodologies, approach, and data management, compiling and analyzing data from various sources using queries, Excel and other BI tools, communicating the results in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Partner with stakeholders in the preparation of various financial planning activities (long range planning, forecasting, annual budgeting).
  • Bring business meaning to financials by synthesizing financial data and identifying variances and trends to provide insightful commentaries.
