POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Financial Analyst will handle the Account-to-Report (A2R) day-to-day operations and responsibilities supporting Pecos & Red River Talc LLC and Royalty A&M LLC (RAM). These are separate subsidiaries of Johnson & Johnson established to hold and manage claims in the cosmetic talc litigation. The SFA will also support Product Liability reporting. This highly visible role is a unique opportunity to support actuals reporting in collaboration with GS, A&D, and the Corporate Controller’s Office. Primary scope of responsibilities comprises of monthly and quarterly closes, including, but not limited, to the following:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance or another related field is required.
  • An advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CPA or CMA etc. is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), SAP and Blackline is required
  • The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
  • The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, the ability to partner with people at all organizational levels internally and externally, operate with a high degree of independence and the proven ability to lead and collaborate in a highly complex environment is required.

Responsibilities
  • Support the quarterly close process and prepare reporting packages
  • Perform monthly and quarterly cross charging through intercompany and journal entries as needed.
  • Coordinate with Business Partners in evaluating and addressing business ad hoc needs
  • Provide support for key compliance activities, including ensuring overall financial compliance reviews are done, balance sheets, external compliance reviews, etc.
  • Meet and present to senior management on actual results and risks & opportunities
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to identify and implement opportunities in standardizing and automating processes
  • The individual will also participate in and lead specific Corporate projects
