Salary Range: $140,000.00-$160,000.00

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking seasoned financial analytics professional with at least 12 years of experience to oversee and drive financial strategy, analysis, and decision-making across our multi-entity retail operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, deep experience in the retail sector, and the ability to lead high-impact initiatives. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to executive decision-making, supporting long-term planning, investment evaluation, and performance optimization across all lines of business.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or strategic finance role.
  • Proven experience in the retail sector, especially in multi-unit or multi-entity structures.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong command of US GAAP and experience working closely with accounting teams.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and modeling), and financial systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, or similar.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver impactful results in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead financial analysis and reporting for a multi-company retail structure, including fuel, convenience retail, real estate, and wholesale operations.
  • Drive the monthly and quarterly close process by reviewing results, identifying key variances, and providing actionable insights.
  • Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business goals across all entities.
  • Assess capital investment opportunities, ROI, and long-term financial implications of major projects.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support scenario planning, budgeting, and strategic forecasting.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate new business initiatives, pricing strategies, and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), long-range financial plans, and rolling forecasts.
  • Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness, leveraging cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement financial software tools and process enhancements to support scaling operations.
  • Mentor and train junior finance team members and support ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retail industry trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors affecting the business.
