WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

SentinelOne is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team, reporting to the FP&A Manager and supporting our Marketing organization. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing and managing detailed financial forecasts, targets, and scenario planning across operating expenses and headcount. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful insights through in-depth analysis, reporting, and financial modeling—ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving scalable, efficient processes.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE SHOULD YOU BRING?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Enterprise SaaS/software experience
  • System experience (NetSuite Planning and Budgeting or Adaptive Planning, Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Tableau, Workday, Greenhouse, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and how the 3 statements come together, along with financial modeling experience
  • CPA/CFA is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and work ethic
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, thrive and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a high-growth environment is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well with cross functional teams, and confidence in interacting with Director-level and VP-level partners
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to support the team on projects as they come up
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain forecasts, along with targets and scenarios, for Marketing P&L including Opex and Headcount planning
  • Consolidate and analyze weekly bottoms up functional forecasts for global Marketing teams, working closely with key stakeholders to anticipate and rationalize upcoming needs
  • Review Purchase Order and Headcount requests, maintaining a high level of control and alignment with targets
  • Partner closely with Accounting to support month end activities including accrual preparation
  • Run reports out of key systems (such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, Greenhouse) and perform deep analysis of transaction information
  • Perform and present monthly variance analysis, analyze bookings, consolidated financials, and operating KPIs
  • Prepare reporting packages and dashboards; create and update presentations to share key financial results with Marketing leadership
  • Construct and update benchmarking and pro forma analyses as needed
  • Help drive scale initiatives for the Finance and Accounting teams by streamlining reporting
  • Build financial models and reports and prepare financial analyses, quickly, efficiently, and with high quality control, as needed for a broad array of purposes including special projects
