Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Research & Development is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, Neuroscience TA to support the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area (TA). This position is based in Spring House, PA or Titusville, NJ.

The Senior Financial Analyst role will primarily be responsible for providing financial leadership, support, and analysis to the Neurodegeneration Late Development programs within the TA (Posdinemab), as well as the Nipocalimab (IMAAVY®) program, a cross-TA R&D collaboration between the Neuroscience and Immunology TAs. The position is responsible for all financial aspects related to the programs, including strategic decision support and valuations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • A CPA, CMA or MBA degree is preferred

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of finance, accounting, or related business experience is required
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills
  • Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • The ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization is required
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills is required
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership attributes
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required(i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions, etc.)
  • The position is based in Spring House, PA or Titusville, NJ with an opportunity to work from Raritan, NJ when necessary (may require up to 10% domestic travel)

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for clinical development spend forecasting and providing insights into key business drivers for assigned programs
  • Support financial forecast cycles and updates (BP, JU, LRFP, NU, etc.), quarterly close processes, integrated business planning, and special projects - managing and communicating financial risks & opportunities
  • Responsible for valuation modeling and leading financial analysis of assigned programs for all TA and IM R&D governance reviews
  • Strong partnership with Clinical Development Teams, IM Commercial, Global Commercial Strategy Organization, Value Chain Management, Clinical Supply and Operations, will be required
  • Strong partnership with extended finance teams, including Global Development, FP&A, DPDS, and IM Supply Chain, will be required
  • Proactively partner with Compound Development Teams to drive compound strategy across the Neuroscience R&D portfolio
  • Analyze the value of project investments in support of strategic program decision-making and scenario analysis
  • Partner with Business Development in support of external innovation opportunities, when applicable
