Reporting to the Finance Systems & Reporting Manager, this role is perfect for an experienced finance professional who enjoys digging into the detail, improving processes, and turning data into meaningful insights. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and transparent financial reporting, supporting both internal and external reporting requirements. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you’ll help streamline and automate financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance forecasting and financial analysis capabilities across the organisation. This role will lead the delivery of finance transformation initiatives, improving data quality, reporting accuracy, insight generation and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort. Partnering with senior stakeholders within the organisation to ensure alignment, adoption and change readiness. This role will utilise your strong technical knowledge and keen eye for efficiency, to promote continuous improvement across the finance function. This part‑time role is based in Fortitude Valley and offers the opportunity to make a real impact while balancing work with other commitments. About you: You’re a confident, proactive finance professional who enjoys improving the way things are done. You bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non finance stakeholders. You’ll bring: A degree in Accounting or equivalent CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable Eligibility to obtain and maintain a baseline AGSVA security clearance* Strong experience in financial analysis, management reporting and balance sheet review A continuous improvement mindset, with experience leading or contributing to process optimisation and automation Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities to deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach High proficiency in Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI You’re comfortable working independently, take ownership of your deliverables, and enjoy supporting others within a team environment. Experience working within strong internal control frameworks (including SOX) is highly valued.
