BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required with 3 or more years of experience
  • Strong Power Point and Excel skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, SAP, Essbase and Cognos BI preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and ability to learn various ERP systems. (Examples include: JDE, SAP, BaxIntel, PlanIT, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills, familiarity with accounting and strong business acumen
  • Initiative, accountability, and integrity with attention to details
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously improve with willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance with guidance received from Lead Analyst/Director
Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

This financial planning and analysis role supports the ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) function. The position requires collaboration with plant and/or function leadership, regional, global finance, and other cross functional stakeholders across the financial planning and analysis activities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Support the plant/function planning process (Plan, Forecasts, LRP).
  • Provide financial and business support for material procurement to the plant(s) or function enabling optimal business decisions. Will work with Procurement Managers.
  • Provide support for the Monthly/Quarterly Results Review, periodic LBE’s.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for strategic evaluations, financial simulations, and excel modelling to provide insightful recommendations and support for management decision making.
  • Support the Lead Analyst in driving improved data analytics for the procurement team.
