Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in financial reporting, planning, and strategic decision support. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, drive process improvements, and contribute to growth initiatives, including acquisitions. This position works with a dynamic team, 5 days in the office, forging relationships with leadership to elevate and grow your career.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Support year-end reporting, audit prep, and working papers
  • Build and maintain annual budgets and rolling forecasts with department leaders
  • Analyze KPIs, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial models for senior leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally on strategic initiatives and ad-hoc analysis
  • Drive automation and process improvements across FP&A and reporting
  • Support M&A activity, from due diligence through integration and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, MBA an asset)
  • 5+ years in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate accounting
  • Solid experience with month-end/year-end close and reporting
  • M&A experience is a strong asset
  • Advanced Excel, ERP, and BI tool proficiency preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
