The Senior Financial Analyst Tax (“SFA Tax”) is a key member of the Unilever North America tax team reporting to the Associate Director, NA Tax Compliance. The SFA Tax role is primarily responsible for the delivery of statutory requirements for Canadian corporate taxes (all jurisdictions), as well as all tax accounting and reporting, also through working with third-party service providers, under the supervision of the Associate Director, NA Tax Compliance.
The SFA Tax role is also responsible for supporting the Associate Director, NA Tax Compliance in the indirect tax area including coordinating all government indirect tax audits at the federal and provincial levels, working with IT on system changes to comply with legislative/operational changes, and providing business support on indirect tax issues. Finally, this role also will manage the US and CA withholding tax compliance and reporting process for the combined North America region in coordination with the NA US International Tax Team.
The SFA Tax role is part of the global Unilever Tax Organization and requires work with Unilever tax and non-tax colleagues around the world. A high caliber individual is sought who would be capable of performing the following functions.
