Description

This is a temporary position from the end of August to May 2026
Primary Responsibilities:

Performance Management Team:

  • Supports advanced level financial modelling for various business intake projects and initiatives with a view to monitor and manage costs and inform performance management activities
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic divisional business decisions
  • Supports ad-hoc deliverables and projects that may involve developing worksheet templates for analyses, updating process documentation/manuals, preparing power point slides, and working with various cross functional teams on initiatives.
  • Provides a variety of administrative and technical support which may include organizing, coordinating, and leading and team activities and initiatives
  • Recommends improvements to existing processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiency.
  • Prepare corporate budget decks and consolidate information from team
  • Assist the OPEX / Capex Team in adhoc projects and analyses.

Skills:

  • Exceptional advanced level financial modelling skills, capable of building complex models from scratch, and highly proficient in advanced Excel formulas.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerBI with the ability to create PowerBI dashboards within a short period of time
  • Adept at creating polished PowerPoint presentations, transforming complex financial data into clear and visually appealing slides, with quick turnaround times to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to perform high quality work under tight timelines
  • Ability to make recommendations for financial and strategic implication backed by data

Relevant Qualifications and Experience:

  • Expertise in guiding non-finance business leaders, partners, and committee members on financial data interpretation and decision-making.
  • Proficient in developing and presenting comprehensive financial reports to executive teams, effectively communicating complex data and insights.
  • Understands the financial and accounting impact of business processes to evaluate current and future activities (e.g., audit, legal, reporting requirements).
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis within larger organizations.

Certifications / Education:

  • University degree in Business, Finance or related discipline.
