  • CPA preferred.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of cost determination, valuation, and pricing strategies.
  • Familiarity with CAPEX and M&A project evaluation.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

Trouw Nutrition is seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Financial Analyst for our Puslinch, Ontario or Okotoks, Alberta office to support business decision-making through financial insights, forecasting, and performance evaluation. This role plays a key part in shaping business strategy, supporting CAPEX and M&A initiatives, and driving innovation through automation and digital tools.
About The Role: Drive financial strategy with data, innovation, and impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze financial data to identify bottlenecks, efficiencies, and actionable insights.
  • Advise management and stakeholders on cost optimization, profitability, and market developments.
  • Support planning and control cycles including development plans, budgets, and performance reports.
  • Forecast future trends and assess market impact using advanced analytics.
  • Conduct internal and external financial analysis to support divisional strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate finance and administrative policies.
  • Drive automation and process improvements through digital tools and dashboards.

EXPECTATION FROM THE ROLE:

  • Proactively identify and flag financial risks or opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and other departments to close gaps and improve results.
  • Build and maintain action plans focused on OPEX control and financial performance.
  • Deliver high-quality support and insights to stakeholders, minimizing disconnects between finance and operations.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and ownership in driving financial excellence.
  • Working with stakeholders across North America.
