Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re partnering with the business in their search for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic FP&A team, reporting into the Senior Finance Manager in the division.
The FP&A team plays a pivotal role in interpreting the overall performance of the business, providing insightful analysis and reporting to senior leadership, the wider group, and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the organisation and contribute to critical financial planning processes.
As part of the FP&A team, you will also be involved in managing the annual budget, the three-year strategic plan, and monthly forecasting activities, with opportunities to lead key planning processes across the organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed performance reports and supplementary analysis to support internal and external stakeholders in understanding the business’s performance.
- Create and deliver monthly and quarterly performance insights to internal teams, contributing to a cohesive trading story.
- Take ownership of coordinating and consolidating financial planning activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning, while collaborating with various teams across the business and the group.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) reports for group-wide initiatives.
- Use the business systems to generate critical financial reports for stakeholders.
- Identify and implement improvements to month-end reporting processes, focusing on streamlining and automation.
- Provide flexible support to senior finance leadership for ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- A recently qualified qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate work.
