As the Senior Financial Assistance Officer based in Brisbane City, your role primarily entails supporting the Financial Assistance team in providing positive customer experiences and ensuring that 100% of financial assistance requests are actioned within regulatory timeframes.
This is a 12-month max term contract, offering you the flexibility to work 2 days a week from home.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

• Min 2 years’ experience in financial assistance, collections or recovery’s role.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting teams as a subject matter expert or leader.
• Working knowledge of relevant Finance industry standards, acts, codes and legislation (e.g., AFCA, APRA, ASIC, National Consumer Credit Protection Act, Credit Union Code of Practice, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, FSRA)
• Outstanding commitment to delivering commercial, customer centric advice and support services.
• A genuine desire to contribute to a positive team culture, utilising your strong communication and self-awareness skills.
