EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional financial analyst or accounting experience is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Data Analytics or Business Intelligence certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage analytic dashboards, reports, and presentations for Finance (CFO, Controller, Senior Financial Leaders, Directors), Ministry, and other Executive (Board of Directors and VPs) leadership to support decision making.
  • Serve as spokesperson and consultant for a Business Intelligence culture in US Finance by promoting development in analytics skill sets and partnering with a network of analytics teams across Cru.
  • Conduct agile ad hoc financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting for business performance to quickly support critical organizational decision making.
  • Serve as the liaison between Finance and the Data Analytics team to model and structure financial data for use in the data warehouse and various dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of FP&A in governing financial data in the data warehouse, maintaining row level security, and onboarding new users to the data warehousing (BigQuery) and BI (Power BI) tools.
  • Participate in project planning and management, including the discovery of requirements for a given project, development, testing and delivery of BI reports/dashboards.
  • Manage and administer security roles and profiles for PeopleSoft Financials users, consulting with Controller, Chief Accounting, and PeopleSoft database administrators as needed.
  • Identify new opportunities to capture and organize enterprise data by researching industry metrics, financial ratios, and key performance indicators of interest to leadership.
  • Assist with analysis of monthly consolidated financial statements for management, writing commentary and identifying key trends.
  • Monitor trends and patterns within the industry to identify developments in financial reporting, forecasting, data analytics, and data modeling.
