Job Title: Senior Financial Business Intelligence Analyst Position Summary: The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Senior Financial Business Intelligence Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Financial Modeling & Business Intelligence, this role supports the Foundation’s mission by providing financial and operational analysis that informs responsible stewardship of resources and data-driven decision-making. This role prepares forecasts, management reports, variance analyses, ad-hoc analyses, and dashboards that support budgeting, planning, and performance monitoring across programs and departments. The position interprets financial and operational data to assess impact, identify trends, and highlight risks and opportunities, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and analytic capabilities. Ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and organizational standards is a key responsibility, achieved through rigorous data validation, reconciliation, and quality review. Key Responsibilities: Create dashboards, charts, and reports using tools such as DOMO to communicate business and financial insights Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, particularly financial systems, to ensure accuracy and reliability Prepare and deliver recurring and ad-hoc reports, including performance and variance analysis Interpret data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support business and financial decision-making Partner with business and finance stakeholders to define and track key metrics aligned with organizational goals Ensure data quality and integrity across reporting and dashboarding solutions Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests related to business performance, budgeting, or forecasting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications and Skills: Relevant experience in data analytics, finance, accounting or related field Familiarity with data visualization tools such as DOMO, Tableau, or Power BI Experience supporting financial reporting, variance analysis, or forecasting processes preferred Proficiency in data analysis and modeling; knowledge of SQL, Python, or R preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Understanding of business and financial processes and how data supports decision-making Compensation & Benefits Individual compensation for this role is dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, skillsets, and applicable laws.
