Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Senior Financial Controller to lead multi-site accounting operations across our portfolio. This is a full-time, in-person leadership role based in Pensacola, Florida. Candidates must reside within a 30-minute commute or be willing to relocate accordingly. Please note that this role may require additional time commitment during the initial ramp-up period. This position will partner closely with executive leadership and serve as a key driver of financial accuracy, operational discipline, and long-term strategic growth. Requirements Financial Leadership & Oversight Oversee all accounting operations across 30+ locations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll coordination, and reconciliations Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Maintain strong internal controls and financial compliance standards Multi-Location & Growth Support Manage financial reporting for multiple properties/entities Support expansion initiatives, new location onboarding, and system scalability Standardize processes while allowing for location-level nuances Reporting & Analysis Prepare and present financial statements, dashboards, and variance analyses for leadership Partner with executives to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support informed decision-making Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and third-party reporting Partner with payroll and HR to ensure wage, tax, and benefit compliance Team & Systems Management Lead and mentor accounting staff or outsourced partners Oversee financial systems and software, recommending improvements as the company grows Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required) 5–10+ years of progressive accounting or financial leadership experience Strong experience supporting multi-location or multi-entity operations Background in hospitality, property management, retail, or services strongly preferred Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment High attention to detail with the ability to think strategically Experience with modern accounting and payroll systems Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
