Senior Financial Management Business Analyst Location: Remote within the United States; must be available during core working hours aligned to the Kansas City, Missouri duty station. Department: USDA Support Services Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Garud Technology Services is seeking a Senior Financial Management Business Analyst to support IT financial management activities for USDA FPAC. This role supports spend planning, interagency agreement management, financial reporting, cost tracking, and multi-year budget execution within a large, complex shared-cost IT environment. What you will do * Support IT financial management activities related to spend plan execution, IAA oversight, and financial reporting. * Oversee financial planning, redistribution of funds, and multi-fiscal-year spend planning. * Produce monthly statistical reports, KPI reports, audit support, and operational metrics. * Track commitments, obligations, accruals, and actuals across requisitions, grants, and interagency agreements. * Maintain and validate updates to the BOB Financial Database and related reports. * Coordinate with budget stakeholders, Working Capital Fund processes, and program offices to gather and validate financial data. * Recommend process improvements that increase reporting accuracy and financial transparency. What you bring * Bachelor's degree, or qualifying substitute experience as defined in the JD. * 5+ years of federal IT financial management experience. * Strong understanding of shared-cost models and financial data calls. * Experience with obligations, accruals, commitments, and financial workflow systems. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across multiple organizational levels. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint. Additional requirements * Ability to support recurring and ad hoc financial data calls, audit support, and monthly reporting cycles. * Ability to obtain required suitability and comply with USDA training and security requirements.
