We are seeking a highly motivated Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced financial professional ready to take on a leadership role in driving financial planning, cash flow modeling, capital investment analysis, and budgeting within a dynamic distribution-focused environment.
The successful candidate will leverage strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and business acumen to support executive decision-making and ensure operational efficiency across a national distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Build and maintain detailed cash flow models to optimize liquidity management.
  • Partner with treasury and accounting teams to align cash forecasts with operational and financing needs.
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support for distribution centers, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to track performance by region, distribution center, and business unit.
  • Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities within transportation, warehousing, and procurement.
  • Evaluate and model capital investment projects (e.g., new DC openings, fleet expansion, automation initiatives).
  • Track and report CapEx against budget, including ROI and payback analysis.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior leadership.
  • Provide variance analysis on revenue, margins, expenses, and cash flow drivers.
  • Support board and investor presentations with clear financial insights.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and IT to understand financial implications of business initiatives.
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration efforts as required.
  • Mentor junior analysts, fostering growth and development within the FP&A team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
  • 2 – 4 years of progressive FP&A experience.
  • Prior experience in distribution, food distribution, logistics, or supply chain highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in cash flow modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.
  • Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills; experience with Power BI and ERP systems (Workday, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence business leaders.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
