Description

“Shaw Trust promotes team spirit, inclusiveness and it is an organisation where everybody is somebody. I am proud to be part of this great organisation.”
At Shaw Trust we believe everyone has the right to live a decent and dignified life and an opportunity for rewarding work. We are a social purpose organisation challenging inequality and breaking down barriers to enable social mobility.
For us being part of the solution is about creating the conditions for this to happen, advocating and delivering services that make a real difference. Working in partnership not competition, we are part of an eco-system of purpose-led organisations, striving for a fairer, more equal society centred on opportunity for all.
Purpose
We believe long-term success is driven by having a charitable heart but a business brain. Therefore, to support our continued success we need a motivated and dedicated Senior Financial Planning Analyst to provide high quality and timely financial information and analysis to Shaw Trust’s managers and external stakeholders. You will be working as part of a wider finance team consisting of transactions, financial planning and financial reporting. We need a customer focused individual who is able to work with colleagues to provide a “one team” approach and use their commercial acumen to ensure service quality is maximised and organisational financial performance targets are achieved.
We need someone who is comfortable working remotely while developing excellent working relations with managers across a large (c. £200m) turnover, multi-location organisation.

YOU WILL HAVE:

Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CFA or CIMA or equivalent
Experience of working in a transactions or due diligence role, either in professional services or as part of industry / in a business development team.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a due diligence process / transaction.
Sift complex financial and non-financial information from a range of available sources to understand its impact on the organisation.
