Description
Responsibilities
Serve as a key resource in the completion of annual budgets, Life of Mine, forecasts and support managers throughout the budget process (both OPEX and CAPEX)
Maintain up-to-date financial files, ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and appropriate support is maintained
Prepare various reports and provide analysis of variances for key operative parameters
Participate as a key role in cost saving opportunities
Prepare reports to assist management in understanding departmental costs
Work with and provide information to internal and external auditors as required
Assist with economic justifications for capital expenditure as required and ensure appropriate documentation and filing of the Authority for Expenditure (AFE) reporting sheets
Identify and track key performance metrics for capital expenditures and participate in long- and short-range financial planning for capital expenditures
