THE OPPORTUNITY

The Ministry of Trade and Export Development, Corporate Services Branch is seeking an individual with strong leadership, accountability and analytical skills for the role of Senior Financial Programs Analyst. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Reporting to the Manager of Financial Programs, the Senior Financial Programs Analyst is responsible for the design and delivery of financial incentive programs for the Government of Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities
  • Administering, reconciling, developing and delivering the Financial Programs for the Ministries of Trade and Export Development, Energy and Resources, and Finance, in support of the provincial Growth Plan and Trade and Export Development’s Investment Attraction goals.
  • Developing, reviewing, and amending legislation, regulations, cabinet items, policy, procedures, and processes for programs.
  • Developing new programs and services in consultation with other ministries, governments, and stakeholder groups, provides guidance and works with program deliverers within and outside the Ministry to implement programs and services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Acts and Regulations for which the position is responsible.
  • Leading stakeholder engagement and consultations for Financial Programs area. This includes relationship building, maintenance and management.
  • Involved in planning of Financial Programs (i.e. process management, policies and procedures).
  • Monitoring and recommending the appropriate budget allocated to effectively deliver Financial Programs.
