We’re hiring a Senior Financial Specialist to strengthen our Croatian finance function and support regional leadership. You will own end-to-end controlling activities, deliver decision-ready insights, and ensure accurate, timely reporting aligned with Group policies. Job Description Key responsibilities: Local Financial Planning & Analysis ownership: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling outlooks in alignment with group guidelines. Management reporting: Prepare monthly management performance packs with KPIs. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance. Collaborate with external accounting to ensure accurate financial data and closing processes. Month-end close: Drive accruals/deferrals, revenue recognition Year-end close & audit: Lead and coordinate the annual financial close and external audit Project & service controlling: Track revenue by contract, customer, and service line, delivery costs, and CoGS Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, financial policies, standards, and regulations. Cost allocation & intercompany: Maintain cost-center structures, allocations, and intercompany recharges in line with Group transferpricing principles. Tax & statutory support: Coordinate with external advisors on VAT and statutory filings in Croatia Tooling & data: build self-service reports and automate repetitive tasks Business partnering: Advise Sales, Delivery, and Operations leaders; translate financials into clear business decisions. Continuous improvement: Standardize processes, document procedures, and contribute to finance transformation projects Qualifications 8+ years in Finance/Controlling roles, ideally in IT environments. Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance. Strong command of management reporting, project controlling, and revenue recognition for services (recurring & project-based). Basic understanding of public-sector procurement Solid knowledge of financial and accounting policies Advanced Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot); experience with Power BI or similar BI tools. Proven ability to own month-end and deliver on tight deadlines with high accuracy. Good communication skills; comfortable presenting insights to senior stakeholders. Fluent Croatian and English (written & spoken). Nice to Have: Experience in multi-entity and cross border settings (intercompany, transfer pricing).
