Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship The position of Senior Financing Partnerships Assistant is assigned to the Partner Funds Division within the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department (CCSD). CCSD leads thematic operations, knowledge innovation, and partnerships. You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. You will report to the designated Technical International staff and/or Technical Local officer. Your Role As a Senior Financing Partnerships Assistant, you will support the accurate and timely management of cofinancing data, coordinate with trust fund managers and financing partnerships focal points, and deliver efficient support to internal stakeholders in reporting cofinancing operations. You will: · Support the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of cofinancing data across ADB’s systems, such as financing partnership agreement details, fund profiles, trust fund requirements, among others · Assist in data analysis and visualization to meet stakeholder needs, including providing timely inputs to corporate reports (e.g., ADB Annual Report, Statement of Operations, and trust fund annual reports), as well as updates to management information systems · Contribute to the preparation of standardized reports on trust fund utilization, development partner contributions, and other key metrics for internal monitoring and external reporting, ensuring clarity and data integrity; support the design and development of analytical dashboards · Support the collection and cataloguing of reports, impact stories, and other visibility materials related to financing partnership operations · Support in the update and management of the Partnerships microsite · Provide operational support to the IT and Data team, including coordination for meetings and events, and support for consultant recruitment and contract management · Perform other related duties as assigned, including assisting International and Senior Staff on strategic assignments You will need: · A Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, finance, economics or relevant field · At least five (5) years of relevant professional work experience · Preferably with good working knowledge of project-related and technical assistance operation and administration · Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain focus · Proficiency in basic analytical and dashboard computer applications · Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects and heavy workloads · Demonstrates collaborative work as a constructive team member · Written and verbal proficiency in English · Please refer to the link for ADB Competency Framework for TL2. This is a fixed term appointment with option to renew, initially for a period of up to 3 years, or up to the Normal Retirement Date (NRD), whichever comes earlier, for the purpose(s) and conditions determined by ADB, in accordance with Administrative Order No. 2.01 (Recruitment and Appointment). After the initial fixed-term period, ADB may choose to renew the appointment for up to an additional 3 years or not renewed. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB, based on factors including but not limited to the requirement of Staff’s particular blend of skills and experience for the medium-term work program of the organizational unit, sufficient funding to cover the renewed period, and Staff’s performance and suitability for employment. There is no limit to the number of renewals up to NRD. However, this appointment is not convertible to a regular appointment.
