Job Description
You will mainly be responsible for the verification, programming, service and inspection of fire alarm systems according to standards and codes. Among other things, your responsibilities will be:
Inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems;
Perform upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection;
Prepare inspection, verification and deficiency reports in a timely manner;
Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
CFAA certification;
5-10 years of relevant experience in service and inspection of fire protection systems;
Experience in programming fire alarm panels;
Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S524, S536 and S537;
Knowledge of Notifier products (an asset);
Valid driver’s license;
Ability to work well independently;
Strong customer service skills.
