Job Description This role is specifically seeking curious, dependable, and proactive learners focused on continuous improvement to join our team. We're looking for someone with a strong background in the design or inspection of mechanical systems and life safety systems such as fire alarm, fire protection and smoke control for buildings. Experience in commissioning and field inspections of buildings systems is a plus. Responsibilities: Consult on project specific requirements and basis of design documents Review HVAC design documentation including drawings, specifications, and controls sequences Review Smoke control approaches Perform submittal reviews Document and maintain well written reports on project related activities Communicate effectively and establish relationships with clients and job-related management teams Providing cross-functional support to ensure client needs and internal timelines/project activities are completed Maintain detailed documents and progression of work from initial proposal through completion Present project related technical information to clients and design teams Occasional presentation of white papercase studies to in-house technical teams Attend in-house seminars and scheduled team meetings Maintain established utilization levels Support junior technicians or entry level staff Field verify life safety systems is installed as per the drawings and specifications Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with a focus on nuclear facilities Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) certification preferred Extensive knowledge of fire protection systems design, analysis, and implementation in nuclear environments Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for system design and documentation Experience with fire modeling software and risk assessment techniques Strong understanding of nuclear industry regulations and standards, including familiarity with Indian nuclear regulations In-depth knowledge of fire protection codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IEEE) Comprehensive understanding of nuclear power plant systems and operations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and respond to emergency situations Willingness to travel to various nuclear facilities as needed Business Line: Transportation Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Structures Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Design and Engineering Profession: Structures - Viaducts and bridges
