We have a growing fire consultancy practice servicing a diverse portfolio of Clients across a wide range of industries and sectors including construction, manufacturing, education, logistics, care, and professional services. With a healthy order book and the opportunity to grow and expand further we are seeking to appoint a Senior Fire Safety Consultant with extensive experience in the fire safety sector.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll have at least five years’ experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments, including in complex and sleeping risk premises, and holding a Level 3 Diploma in Fire Safety or equivalent. You’ll have experience with compartmentation and fire door surveys, and a solid understanding of relevant legislation and guidance including Approved Document B, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and BS 9999/9991. Accreditation with IFE, IFSM, FRACS, or IFPO is essential. You will be detail-focused, and confident supporting both clients and fellow consultants. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are key to success in this role. Regional and national travel is required, so flexibility is a must. While health and safety qualifications and IOSH or IIRSM membership are desirable, they’re not essential.
