This newly created role will lead complex investigations, identify emerging risks and strengthen the controls that keep our customers and business safe. Working closely with teams across Credit, Settlements, Risk and Compliance, you'll play a key role in investigating fraud, uncovering process weaknesses and driving better risk outcomes across the business. * Lead complex fraud investigations and act as a senior escalation point  * Investigate suspicious activity, falsified documentation and emerging fraud trends  * Identify control gaps and recommend improvements to reduce risk  * Deliver assurance and quality reviews across mortgage credit  * Analyse data and reporting to identify trends and insights  * Coach and support team members  * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and risk uplift activities   About you You're an experienced risk or fraud professional with a background in lending or financial services. You enjoy solving complex problems, investigating issues thoroughly and using your judgement to make sound decisions. Comfortable working autonomously, you're able to influence stakeholders, support others and help drive a strong risk culture while remaining focused on practical business outcomes. * Experience in fraud investigations, first line risk or assurance within financial services  * Strong understanding of lending, mortgage operations or credit assessment  * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills  * Ability to identify trends, control weaknesses and emerging risks  * Knowledge of AML, NCCP and regulatory obligations  * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills  * Experience coaching or providing guidance to others  * Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI highly regarded   At Pepper Money, collaboration is just as vital as your skills.
