Senior Fleet & Commercial Officer EOI Expressions of Interest to join the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $129,464 - $142,665 per annum plus superannuation Temporary 12-month opportunity based in Sydney, NSW About the role The Senior Fleet and Commercial Officer supports the management of the department’s accommodation, leases and fleet arrangements across NSW. The role works with internal teams, Property NSW and external suppliers to ensure workplaces and services meet business needs. The role is responsible for managing commercial leases and service agreements, including negotiating contracts and monitoring performance. It also supports financial tracking and planning to help ensure accommodation and fleet services are efficient, fit for purpose and deliver value for money. The role provides advice on motor vehicle fleet management and helps ensure compliance with policy and legislation. It maintains accurate records, contributes to reporting, and supports continuous improvement of systems and processes. About you We are looking for someone with experience in accommodation, facilities or commercial contract management in a complex organisation. You understand how to manage leases and suppliers, and can apply relevant policies and legislation in your work. You communicate clearly and build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. You are confident explaining complex information in simple terms and can work collaboratively to resolve issues and achieve outcomes. You are organised and accountable, able to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work on time.
