Description

The Senior Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for all Fleet Monster Jam Operations and Monster Jam
workspaces for Feld Entertainment. This position may travel up to 35% of the year to Monster Jam events to
help evaluate staff, shows, and equipment. The Senior Fleet Operations Manager will also assist with employee
relations, enforcing company policies, aiding in the performance appraisals of Monster Jam shop
technicians, and support staff.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or vocational certificate in mechanics preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar arena facility environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in mechanics and repair.
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of department processes. Typically requires 2 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
  • Personal characteristics: team player, organized/detail-oriented, task-oriented, quick learner, self-starter, critical thinking, multi-tasking.
  • Budget-minded and able to assist with all aspects of the Monster Jam Fleet budget process
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.)
  • Ability to work in varied environments. (The work environment is subject to climactic conditions of both hot and cold, indoor and outdoor.)
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Monster Jam Fleet technicians and operations at the Global HQ shop
  • Works closely with the Director of Fleet Operations
  • Gathers Monster Jam Fleet-related updates and communicates to the field when necessary
  • Helps develop, train, and execute Monster Jam Fleet Global HQ Shop process & procedures
  • Adheres, enforces, and supports compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Accepts other relevant duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Liaison between the facilities staff and the Fleet department to meet any needs for future growth or expansion in the Ellenton facility.
  • Make updates and developments to the current generation of Monster Jam Monster Trucks.
  • Manage or assist with Special Events outside of normal touring operations.
