Ciklum is looking for a Senior Flutter Engineer to join our team full-time in Slovakia. About the role: As a Senior Flutter Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The client builds connected digital play experiences that reach millions of children and families worldwide. While legacy applications continue to bring daily joy to kids, new products expand how children interact with our play. This role ensures that strong mobile engineering becomes a foundational capability across the portfolio. By driving architecture, improving development practices, and supporting both legacy and modern applications, your work will directly support the organization’s ambition to deliver high-quality digital play experiences. Responsibilities: * Design & Development: Design, architect, develop, and maintain scalable cross-platform mobile applications for clients consumers * Technical Leadership: Lead technical decisions regarding app architecture, code structure, and platform strategy to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability. * Maintenance & Modernization: Maintain and evolve legacy Unity applications, deliver new features, and support upcoming products * UX/UI Collaboration: Partner closely with UI/UX designers to deliver world-class user experiences with high attention to visual detail, quality, and usability * Engineering Standards: Ensure high engineering standards across code quality, testing, automation, release processes, and application reliability * Support & Mentorship: Collaborate with QA and Consumer Service teams to improve app performance and customer satisfaction, and mentor other engineers on scalable practices and modern frameworks. * Decision-Making Authority: You are responsible for the design, implementation, delivery, and roll-out of systems, frameworks, and infrastructure to build and deploy user-facing applications Requirements: * Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial experience in developing mobile or cross-platform consumer applications * Technology: Hands-on production experience with Flutter * Expertise: Strong software engineering fundamentals (architecture, object-oriented design, testing, debugging, optimization) and proven experience designing scalable app architecture * Code Practices: Experience working with and modernizing legacy codebases while maintaining stability, and a strong understanding of CI/CD and release processes * Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, QA, and design teams Desirable: * Experience in games or children’s digital products * Familiarity with the quality, safety, and privacy considerations necessary when building for children * Experience working with Bluetooth peripherals, IoT-enabled products, or connected devices * Native iOS and/or Android development experience * Comfortable presenting technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders across business, product, and design teams What’s in it for you? * Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door culture that values initiative and empowers its people to succeed * Fast-paced & agile environment: Be part of a dynamic, fast-moving organization that champions efficiency and innovation * Global exposure: Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams and contribute to large-scale initiatives * Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications * Flexibility: Balance office and remote work to fit your rhythm * Care: Take advantage of our extensive benefits offering, aligned with the best market standards The salary starts from 3100 Euro gross.
