Frozen Garden, a small frozen food production facility that handcrafts healthy, pre-packaged frozen food, is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our awesome team as a Senior Production Specialist.

The Senior Production Specialist performs all core duties of a Production Specialist while setting the standard for accuracy, efficiency, and reliability on the production floor. In addition to leading by example, this role takes on added responsibilities such as sealing finished bags, ensuring correct ingredients are pulled, and providing real-time feedback to team members to maintain quality and consistency.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Hard-working, detail-oriented, and organized
• Previous kitchen and/or food service experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment to reach daily production goals while also maintaining strict product quality standards
• Willingness to take on additional tasks and help out in various capacities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback
• Must be able to be on your feet for an 8-hour day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience with packaging or sealing equipment preferred
• Ability to mentor and guide team members

ALL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST DUTIES, PLUS:

• Working with our team to assemble our Smoothie, Delite, Garden Bowl and Overnight Oat packs in a quick and efficient manner
• Washing, prepping, and cutting fresh produce
• Using scales to accurately weigh ingredients
• Operating the blast freezer and various appliances to assist in the food production process
• End-of-day kitchen clean-up
• Adherence to strict food safety processes and procedures
• Maintain detailed and accurate production records while using basic math
• Gathering and returning frozen ingredients into walk-in freezers and, at times, freezer organization

ADDITIONAL SENIOR PRODUCTION SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work as the designated bag sealer, ensuring weights and bag quality meet specifications
• Monitor in-process quality and provide feedback to bag makers when adjustments are needed
• Lead by example in productivity, cleanliness, and adherence to SOPs
• Support new team members by answering questions and offering guidance as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on sealing machines and monitor equipment needs
• Identify when equipment requires deep cleaning and ensure it is reported and completed appropriately
• Communicate clearly with the Production Lead regarding issues, shortages, or improvement ideas
