We constantly acquire new skills and learn from our experiences to enhance our collective expertise The Senior FP&A Analyst will support a group of Finance and Accounting professionals always making decisions based on Verista’s mission, vision, and values. The Senior FP&A Analyst role reports to the FP&A Director to develop and ensure quality execution of financial planning and analysis in a timely manner. Senior FP&A Analyst Responsibilities: Track Bookings data weekly, provide comprehensive bookings / pipeline updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate wins, losses or movements in a pipeline Lead Monthly Bookings forecast process collaborating with Client Partners and executives to gather and incorporate key data and assumptions Manage Revenue forecast, revenue recognition and understand sales timing & impact on revenue Manage the monthly preparation and review of the Company's Financial Statements (Actuals/Budget/Forecast) including but not limited to: Cash Flows, Income Statement and Balance Sheet. Which includes the preparation of variance analysis and footnotes for financial statements. When needed, assist with key areas of the monthly closing process, such as revenue recognition Support the management in reviewing all of Sector deliverables (flash, monthly, quarterly and annually) to ensure accuracy and consistency. Discuss all questions or change recommendations with Sectors, and work to resolve in a timely manner. Publish various internal reporting packages to all stakeholders by the required dates Perform ad-hoc reporting as required by the needs of management, including but not limited to in-depth reviews of financial statement accounts by analyzing balance changes against trends Assist with the coordination of the annual budget process, including establishment of a budget calendar, preparing key financial schedule templates Assist in developing KPIs to track key initiatives and incorporate in existing reporting packages Lead the financial forecasting process, collaborating with department heads and executives to gather and incorporate key data and assumptions Prepare regular reports for the Board of Directors on the company’s performance, including presentations for quarterly board meetings and ad hoc presentations as needed Develop dashboards and other standard monthly/quarterly reporting in Datarails Work collaboratively with Verista’s private equity partner, providing data and analyses as requested; and act as a liaison to the private equity partner, fostering strong relationships and effective communication Serve as a sound back up to the FP&A Director to ensure business continuity Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: This position requires the following skills/job knowledge: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required Minimum of 5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking experience Required Skills Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel, including expert knowledge of financial modeling, pivot tables, and professional formatting standards Advanced proficiency of Microsoft PowerPoint Intermediate proficiency of financial statement analysis and basic corporate finance concepts Prior experience in bookings forecast is preferred Applicants with a strong knowledge of Salesforce, Datarails reports development and Power BI would have a considerable advantage.
