Description
Win business by managing proactive and reactive fragrance development in response to client briefs. Support sales efforts through olfactive presentations and olfactive brand servicing. Gain, defend, and revitalize business by developing an olfactive vision for brands and categories (typically at local or regional levels) and creating tailored fragrance solutions. Understand clients' key brands (history and current) cross-category, from both marketing and olfactive perspectives, and seek synergies with the working category. Build strong networks and partnerships with FDMs, Perfumers, Sales, CI, and Marketing teams. Evaluate fragrance development and contribute to building collections. Guide perfumers during development to align with strategic goals. Recommend submissions that meet brief parameters and category objectives. Lead key international/regional/local projects and participate in expert panels across categories. Detect olfactive trends and category needs using marketing insights and consumer data analysis, turning them into actionable fragrance solutions. Participate in defining and executing category strategies by collaborating across functions (CMS, applied research, MR, perfumers, and sales). Maintain deep and evolving knowledge of market products in all categories. Analyze and decode consumer data to identify emerging trends. Leverage insights to create impactful and innovative fragrance solutions. Build organizational capability by training and mentoring Assistant FDMs, sustaining a strong talent pipeline. Lead proactive initiatives to enhance team efficiency and capability. Improve operational efficiency and drive sales by effectively utilizing and promoting fragrance collections.
