Description
Location: Boon Lay, West Region Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $2,500 - $3,500 Availability: Immediate Start What You Will Be Doing Operational Management Supervise and coordinate daily shipping operations to ensure smooth and timely transportation of goods. Plan and manage consolidation boxes for overseas shipments. Arrange and coordinate deliveries and pickups with all relevant parties, including logistics and warehouse teams. Documentation & Compliance Prepare and oversee accurate shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Permits, and Certificates of Origin. Handle and declare all types of import/export permits. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company protocols. Customer & Stakeholder Communication Liaise with customers, co-loaders, and overseas agents for shipment arrangements and issue resolution. Establish and maintain strong relationships with shipping vendors, carriers, and hauliers. Monitoring & Improvement Use and oversee systems to monitor shipments, billing, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and prompt updates. Identify opportunities to optimize shipping efficiency and reduce costs. Resolve shipping, transportation, or documentation issues to maintain service standards. Other Duties Provide support for ad-hoc projects or tasks assigned by management. What We Are Looking For Diploma/Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred). 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or freight consolidation (preferred). Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders. Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A proactive learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes. Immediate availability and Singaporean citizenship are advantageous
