SUMMARY:

We are seeking a talented Front End Developer to join our dynamic team at Entourage Yearbooks. In this role, you will be instrumental in building user-friendly interfaces and enhancing the overall user experience of our yearbook platforms. Your contributions will directly impact how schools create and share their memories.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development in B2B or B2C environments.
  • 2+ years working with AWS services.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, React, Next.js, and Tailwind
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Management Studio and SQL-based development.
  • Ability to quickly convert mockups into fully functional web pages.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills; able to support customers and internal teams clearly and professionally.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with graphic-heavy or design-focused web applications.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of UX best practices and responsive design principles.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications to enhance our yearbook design platform and website.
  • Create UI/UX solutions and wireframes that reflect efficient workflows and enhance the user experience.
  • Code and debug in JavaScript, React, Next.js, Laravel and Tailwind.
  • Develop and consume REST APIs to support dynamic application features.
  • Collaborate with a development team using Agile/SCRUM methodologies to iterate quickly and effectively.
  • Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of web applications.
  • Participate in customer support via phone, email, and chat when technical issues arise.
  • Participate in hybrid in-office work (not a fully remote position, 4 days in office after probationary training period).
