The Role:
Neo Financial is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team in Calgary.
In this role, you will collaborate with other talented devs, deliver high quality code and contribute to exciting and impactful projects. You‘ll work on building world class web technologies while following best practices like agile, automated testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery. You’ll work with cutting edge tools and patterns. Our technology stack is built using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL and hosted on Vercel.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Expert in React, Next.js, Typescript, GraphQL, and bonus for Vercel
• Expert in building high quality, highly-testable responsive web apps that have complex business logic
• Proficient in performance optimization and scaling solutions, and knowledge of web security best practices
• Expertise in front-end development, including design systems, monorepos, data, APIs, queues, security, scalable systems, and business logic.
• Familiar with managing high-availability cloud-based infrastructure, specifically PaaS and SaaS based solutions.
• Familiar with web observability and monitoring using tools like Sentry and Datadog
• Experienced working on complex products with teams that are focused on fast paced delivery
• Experience working with bigger teams and bigger projects that span multiple teams
• Seasoned developers with at least 6 years of work experience under their belt
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada and willing to relocate to Calgary. Relocation packages and reimbursements are available.

• As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll lead the way by developing solutions for the most complex features, and help shape the future of our frontend properties
