The Senior Application Developer codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains applications. The Senior Application Developer is also responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and modifying moderately complex application programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 4 years of experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of the function and departmental processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Proficient in using MS Windows and MS Word/Excel Applications.
• Possess a Valid Drivers’ License without special restrictions.

REQUIREMENTS

• UI/UX experience
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap and Angular Material
• Experience in building responsive applications with JavaScript
• Skill in a source control system, preferably Git
• Experience in building SPAs with JavaScript Frameworks, preferably VueJS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

• Analyzes and resolves problems associated with applications.
• Works on most phases of applications programming activities
• Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems.
• Position contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
• Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
• Ensures that all courseware development and program development is documented upon request.
• Provides guidance and direction to personnel by identifying and selecting the best methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results as identified by the COR.
• Performs additional relevant duties as assigned.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, support personnel, and UI/UX designers to create new web applications, data visualization tools, and application-centric dashboards
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Research emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Application Developer may (as authorized by the Program Manager) coordinate the work activities of subordinate Contractor personnel.
