EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS NORMALLY REQUIRED:

  • Degree in Automation & Robotics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent IT focused work experience and technical training/certification
  • Master degree is a plus or equivalent experience (> 6 years)

SPECIFIC WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of the Construction & Building Materials industry with a focus on plant manufacturing systems (historians, quality, production, process, maintenance..) is an asset. Other industries experience (mining, oil & gas, auto..) may also be considered.
  • Work Experience in Agile development and continuous delivery
  • Solid experience in the development, maintenance and rollout of Digital Industrial Solutions such in domains such as:
  • Plant maintenance, process, production, quality, inventory solutions
  • Plant mobility solutions (maintenance, process, inventory, production….)
  • Strong IT understanding to support solution integration within the IT backend landscape

TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

Deep technical knowledge and understanding of the following solutions:

  • Digital solutions technology stack - front end (e.g. VueJs, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, Java, Bootstrap, jStat )
  • Solutions deployment/ cloud platforms (e.g.AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experienced in developer Frameworks (e.g. GitLab)
  • Knowledge in automated testing,
  • Experience in Corporate solution & services operation and delivery within an international group is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of, and experience with technical aspects and languages
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology of resolution management
  • Strong problem solving; experience in managing IT Projects.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGERIAL ABILITIES:

  • Capability to foster teamwork across IT teams to achieve project work or operational activities
  • Ability to make quick decisions in urgent or critical situation

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Excellent English (written & spoken)
  • French, Spanish are a plus

Mobility requirements (time spent travelling internationally, nationally, etc.):

  • travel up to 10%

Responsibilities:

Design / build / deploy process of the Industrial applications in scope of the Industrial cross-function:

  • Design, develop, and deploy strategic functional/technical Industrial solutions as per business needs
  • Partner with other IT/business stakeholders to define a technical roadmap, identify dependencies, and contribute to architect solutions that meet business needs with minimum deployment business impact
  • Participate in code reviews and help maintain high standards of code quality
  • Deliver limited-defect products through ubiquitous test automation
  • Collaborate with other IT members and leaders within the Architecture/Engineering teams to refine best practices and processes to execute
  • Preparation of requirements analysis with focus on technical specifications, risk analysis, cost analysis, project plan, user acceptance tests performance & coordination - from small to complex solutions.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and available for operational support.
  • Accompany business in building training materials
  • Participate to Industrial solutions 2nd/3rd level support
