The Black Bull Hotel in Lauder is looking for a dynamic, diligent individual to join our team

Roles will include but not limited to:

  • Have good communication skills i.e communicating via email and also communicating face to face
  • Positive attitude and friendly disposition
  • Assist the Management in ensuring the training and development of staff to maximise performance, aid retention and reduce turnover.
  • · Check in/Check out Guests, attend to the reasonable needs of guests
  • · Lead and inspire individuals to develop a highly motivated, committed team.
  • · Assist the Hotel Management to maintain staff discipline and ensure that company policy and procedure are followed.
  • · Assist the Manager with monitoring of performance of the hotel staff and provide continuous training to ensure that the required standards are being met.
  • · Co-ordinate, organise and ensure the smooth running of the restaurant, bar and their services, ensuring that they are prepared correctly, and the required standards are met at every service during the week.
  • · Ensure staff are always dressed in the correct clean uniform as outlined in the Company manual.
  • Be responsible for closing/cashing up when required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
