Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to take a pivotal role in shaping, building, and delivering the frontend systems that drive their portfolio of high-performance casino brands—where speed, scalability, and automation are essential to enabling rapid brand rollouts. The successful candidate will join a cross-functional delivery team, working closely with product, backend, QA, DevOps, and architecture groups to deliver secure, resilient, and high-quality solutions. They will be trusted with full ownership of their work, guiding features from initial concept all the way through to production, with a focus on stability, performance, and measurable business value. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript and modern JavaScript technologies. Partner with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to transform requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions. Ensure the frontend ecosystem is secure, reliable, and optimized for both high-traffic usage and fast casino brand deployments. Contribute to architectural decisions and the long-term technical vision of the delivery stream, balancing rapid delivery with sustainable engineering. Build reusable components, libraries, and tools to streamline development and support automation across multiple brands. Implement testing, observability, and monitoring to ensure high-quality releases and swift incident detection. Take full ownership of deliverables—from development to production—ensuring uptime, performance, and smooth end-user experiences. Actively participate in, and when needed lead, Scrum and SDLC ceremonies such as sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Champion engineering best practices, including clean coding standards, peer reviews, and collaborative problem-solving. Continuously enhance development workflows, deployment practices, and overall system performance. Required Experience At least 5 years of experience as a frontend developer, ideally within a similar fast-paced environment. Strong proficiency in vanilla JavaScript (ESM, ES6) and TypeScript. Experience with hybrid setups including Static Site Generation (SSG) and Server-Side Rendering (SSR). Proven track record of delivering business-critical systems under iterative and agile workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgment around trade-offs between speed and technical debt. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with product teams to deliver value without compromising quality. Experience with CSS animations, preprocessors, and SASS. Solid understanding of software design and architectural principles. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional frontend development experience in production environments. Demonstrated expertise in TypeScript. Experience working with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive within autonomous, cross-functional teams.
