SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a highly skilled team building global customer data platforms. You’ll play a key role in rebuilding and modernizing legacy systems using current frontend technologies, contributing to a data platform used across critical systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, preferably in large-scale applications
  • Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (Vanilla JS), CSS, HTML, and Web Components
  • Solid experience with Node.js, frontend build tools (Webpack, Rollup), and browser APIs
  • Familiarity with class-based components (e.g., React Classes, LIT)
  • Experience designing APIs and working in cross-functional environments
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, SPA, and SSR/SSG patterns
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps)
  • Solid grasp of TDD/BDD and frontend testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Selenium, etc.)
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work in agile, collaborative teams
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing and maintaining a global reference data platform. This platform supports consistent customer and business data across international systems, enabling standardized regulatory reporting, risk calculations, and system integrations. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, your focus will be on replacing and improving the existing frontend with scalable, modern, and performant architecture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of frontend components using modern JavaScript standards
  • Rebuild legacy frontends with clean, efficient, and reusable code
  • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and implementation
  • Design API integrations with performance and usability in mind
  • Help establish and follow consistent coding standards and CI/CD processes
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product owners, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Support the platform through deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities
